At Karwood, we believe that the attention is in the details, and when building your home, the more attention, the better. We also know that such attention can take time, which is why we ensure you have that time by attending to everything over three personal meetings with you.

In the first meeting we provide all of our customers with a binder. Over the course of the designing of your house, this binder will become an important resource as we begin to fill it with your personal selections, change orders, drawings, and any thing else you may need. In the case of the first meeting, it will include the choices you make for the exterior of the house. Everything from the type of doors, windows, and even the eavestrough will find its way into your binder once each decision is made.

The second meeting handles the internal elements such as kitchen cabinets, vanities, and flooring. Once you have made your decisions based on our wide selection, quotes will be requested from the respective suppliers. All of these quotes will then be reviewed or revised until you approve each of them.

As the saying goes, the third time is the charm. So, it should be no surprise that the third meeting is used to determine such things as lighting and paint, which can truly add personality to your home. In the final meeting, we also ensure that all previous details have been reviewed and approved, and any other concerns or questions are addressed.

Once all your selections and changes are noted, and you are happy with your decisions, construction will begin. To ensure that everyone involved knows the final details of your house, a copy of all selections and change orders are maintained on-site in a binder similar to yours.
